  • Open: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-6pm. Friday hours are from 10am-4pm.

Closed: Wednesdays & Weekends. I don’t respond to inquiries on my days off to model healthy boundaries.

  • Prospective clients can submit a ‘request appointment’ form to arrange a free 15-minute phone consultation. You may also use the form to ask questions. Please allow up to 3 business days for me to respond. Please note, I do not work on Wednesdays.

  • I accept Aetna at this time.

  • $170 for a 50-60 minute psychotherapy session

  • I take many factors into consideration such as my experience, training, expertise, and post-graduate education. I also put in additional time to write psychotherapy notes as mandated by my profession's code of ethics with extra care to meet your insurance's specific guidelines for reimbursement. In addition, I may have to spend a ton of time speaking to insurance companies to advocate for reimbursement. All therapists are mandated to complete a specific amount of continuing education hours annually in order to keep their licenses active which is paid out of pocket.

As with most businesses, I have to cover operational costs (office rental, marketing, licensing renewal fees-etc) and cover all my taxes as a single-member business owner and employee. There are also a ton of administrative time that is unaccounted for. And let's not forget emotional energy, inflation, and student loan debt!

  • I do not do Couples Therapy because I have not been trained in researched-based modalities recommended for couples therapy such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method. However, I may be able to refer you to Couples Therapists that does. I would be doing you a disservice if I pretended to be trained in these modalities.

  • I do not work with children and teens as I do not having extensive training nor experience. I would be doing you and your child a disservice if I pretended to be trained in working with them.

  • Absolutely! To be honest, I am a cisgender, hetero ally. I am not an expert on all LGBTQIA+ issues however I am humble enough to learn or refer out to experts in the community.

  • Clients typically work with me for 6-12 months. My job is to help you improve your quality of life so you won't need therapy anymore.

  • We can discuss sliding scale fees (reduced rate) dependant upon your income. If you live in LV, NV I can refer you to low-cost psychotherapy provided by interns in the process of obtaining clinical hours for licensure. The interns have completed their master's degrees, have completed internship hours during graduate school, and are supervised by a licensed therapist. It's a win-win situation.

  • The frequency of sessions depend on the acuity of each individual's needs. For clients using insurance, I require 3 weekly consecutive sessions in order to complete a comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluation and collaborate on a Treatment Plan. For clients who are paying out of pocket, we have more flexibility because we are not obligated to work within the limitations of insurance companies.

For all clients, we start off with weekly sessions then taper down to every 2 weeks then every 3-4 weeks then once per month. If you are using insurance and are not able adhere to my clinically-recommended frequency of sessions, your insurance company may scrutinize the medical necessity of psychotherapy. There are multiple factors when determining when a client is able to decrease the frequency of sessions such as safety risks, progress, readiness, and a client's intentional effort in applying skills in their daily lives. That is why collaboration, communication, and transparency are crucial to therapeutic relationships.

  • No I do not work during weekends.

  • As a prospective client, it is your responsibility to complete the electronic initial intake paperwork at least 48 hours prior and show up. Sometimes showing up is the hardest part. If it is not completed 48 hrs prior, your appointment may be cancelled and considered a late cancellation.

  • At this time, I do not treat trauma-related disorders where folks are actively re-experiencing symptoms. I currently treat relational and generational trauma with AEDP.

  • LCSW stands for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Basically they're social workers who can do psychotherapy. Unlike other types of psychotherapists, LCSWs are trained to look at the “whole picture” through the Person-in-Environment (PIE) Theory. I examine client’s environmental factors such as the current social & political climates, systems, family dynamics, socioeconomic status, gender roles, gender identities, acculturation, race and culture. And yes, of course I highly value social justice!

  • I provide telehealth sessions for clients residing in CA and NV. I offer in-person sessions to folks in Las Vegas. Please bring your own mask to wear during in-person sessions.

  • Masks are non-negotiable during flu season or if you have cold symptoms. I have a chronic, invisible illness and when I get sick, even with a simple cold, I get really really sick for a long time!

  • According to the AEDP Institute, “AEDP heals trauma and helps to undo aloneness by championing the innate healing capacity of neuroplasticity in a safe, attached therapeutic relationship.

Through moment-to-moment, in-depth processing of difficult emotional and relational experiences, AEDP clinicians help clients recover their sense of core self and experience increased resilience and a renewed zest for life.

AEDP has roots in many disciplines including interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, emotion theory and affective neuroscience, body-focused approaches as well as transformational studies.”

  • We require at least a 48 hours advanced notice prior to your scheduled appointment. This gives us time to contact other clients that are waitlisted for your previously scheduled appointment. If your notice is less than 48 hours, you will be charged a late cancellation fee. Unlike doctor’s offices, I do not double or triple book for one appointment slot. That’s unethical. Please be courteous of my time and my other clients’ time.

  • · All clients are required to enroll in auto-pay. Payment is due at the time of service.

    · Clients are responsible for verifying their coverage for mental health services prior to scheduling your initial appointment.

    · Please keep in mind that even if I am in-network with your insurance company, if you have not reached your deductible then you will likely be responsible for paying my contracted rates until your deductible is reached.

    · If you do not have coverage during your first session or you lose coverage during the therapy process, you will be responsible for full payment of each session.

    · You are responsible for any co-pays, deductibles, and/or coinsurance fees due at the time of service. I cannot verify co-pays, deductibles, and/or coinsurance fees prior to your initial session. If you have any questions regarding these fees, please contact your mental health insurance provider prior to scheduling your initial session.

  • I provide a limited amount of slots for clients requiring sliding scale fee. Sliding scale fee is basically a reduced rate based on your household income.
